Omaha100 Names Trevon Brooks as CEO to Lead Next Phase of Growth and Opportunity

Omaha, NE — As Omaha100 enters the second quarter of 2026, the organization is proud to officially announce Trevon Brooks as its Chief Executive Officer, a role he assumed on January 1, 2026.

While this announcement may be considered long overdue, it reflects the reality that Omaha100’s new leadership team hit the ground running at the start of the year. Since January, Brooks has been actively leading the organization with a clear vision focused on expanding access to capital, strengthening entrepreneurial support, and deepening community impact.

Brooks succeeds longtime leader Malinda Williams, following a thoughtful leadership transition in which the two served as Co-CEOs in the months leading up to January 2026. This period of shared leadership ensured continuity, alignment, and a strong foundation for the organization’s next chapter.

A dynamic and visionary leader, Brooks brings a proven track record of advancing entrepreneurship, innovation, and equitable access to resources. Prior to this role, he served as CEO of the Omaha Innovation Connection Hub, where he led efforts to support entrepreneurs and strengthen the local business ecosystem. His leadership continues to center on creating pathways for underserved communities to build, grow, and sustain thriving businesses.

“Since day one, our focus has been on action,” said Brooks. “Omaha100 has a powerful legacy, and we are building on that foundation by expanding how we serve — ensuring entrepreneurs have access to the capital, resources, and support they need to succeed at every stage.”

This leadership transition comes during a period of intentional growth for Omaha100. Known for over 30 years of impact in mortgage lending and homeownership, the organization has expanded into business lending and entrepreneurial development. Under Brooks’ leadership, Omaha100 is focused on providing accessible and flexible financing solutions, paired with education and support, to meet entrepreneurs where they are and help them grow from startup to scale.

“Trevon’s leadership has already made a meaningful impact across the organization and in the community,” said Ernest White, Chair of the Omaha100 Board of Directors. “His vision, energy, and commitment to this work position Omaha100 for continued growth and deeper impact in the years ahead. We are proud of the momentum we've built under Trevor's leadership and look forward to an even brighter future ahead. Please join us in celebrating this exciting chapter for Omaha100!”

As Omaha100 continues to grow its team and expand its reach, this official announcement marks both a celebration of progress already underway and a bold step forward into the future.
